We all die at some point, what else is there than to try and make the World a better place than how we found it?
WHY???
"Repeat a lie often enough and it becomes the truth." Unknown origin

"Flood the zone with shit." Steve Bannon

“This is not about persuasion: This is about disorientation.” Jonathan Rauch

“No, I don’t want to think about it,” he [Trump] said when Mr. D’Antonio asked him to contemplate the meaning of his life. “I don’t like to analyze myself because I might not like what I see.”

Long story short, I think reality should matter. I could say I don't care about all of Trump's lies—other politicians lie too, right? Not even close to the same number. Could say, "Bush lied about weapons of mass destruction. That was more consequential." Well, it's certainly something to debate, but...

"We've tolerated presidential lies ever since the beginning of the republic," says Professor Eric Alterman, author of Lying In State: Why Presidents Lie - And Why Trump Is Worse.
"But Donald Trump is the Frankenstein's monster of a political system that has not merely tolerated lies from our leaders, but has come to demand them."

Jodey Arrington is the epitome of the loyal soldier for Trump's lies. He's not as outwardly demeaning or insulting to others most of the time. But I'll be damned if I've ever seen him criticize the former President for any words or actions.

For many of you, maybe that's a positve, not a negative. I could certainly spam this page about why I find that problematic, but that will become apparent if you end up reading the issue sections. Maybe you're thinking, 'I don't like a lot of what he [Trump] says or does, but he's better than those people." I wish there was something I could do or say to convince you differently, but after eight years of trying, that's probably not going to happen.

I could try to trick you into thinking I'm something I'm not, but that's not who I am. I've almost always voted for Democrats, but in today's Republican Party, that matters even less than just, "With us or against us?" Republican after Republican have been cast as the devil for opposing Trump, to the point where it's seen as an act of tremendous courage by many when they do. Like the courage needed to leave a cult.

Anyway, for those of you still reading along, if it's not obvious, I think Arrington's support of Trump should be immediately disqualifying. Apart from that, I'm not going to completely destroy his character. I don't know him personally. There are certainly things I hear through the grapevine, but, whatever. By the way, there is a Libertarian candidate, Bernard Johnson, also running this year. I'm sure I'd probably vote for him if I wasn't running, although I reached out to see if he wanted to set up a debate and haven't heard back yet. Arrington has ignored my requests for a debate as well, of course. I say, 'of course', because I see no desire from him to be part of the 'exchange of ideas'. Very similar, I think, to Trump's fear of examing his own life. See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil...

As should be apparent from my tens of thousands of FB posts and Twitter tweets the last few years, I'm not afraid to respond to anyone. I don't think I've ever blocked anyone. The least an elected representatvie can do is listen. Low bar, but it seems to be very hard to come by.

If you only have time to read about one issue, I would go the Money section. We could have such a better World. I still have hope.
